Worry-Free Living

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?…Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Matthew 6:25, 27

Heavenly Father, search me and cleanse me from every ounce or thought of worry or anxiety. Your Spirit is one of faith and boldness not timidity and settling. Your Spirit convicts and equips contagious courage through the supernatural with little deference to the limitations of mankind. No task is too great, no service too low when filled with your Spirit.

Embolden us this day to step forth in the humble confidence of who you are Lord, in us - that we might be in the world, in whatever station or place that might be, a living legacy of your grace. 

With love, in love, we proclaim that our lives are not our own, that you have called us by name, and send us in your Spirit, to be most fully present through word and deed and sign of a redeeming and hope-filled God in a hurting world - in the name of Jesus...
