Wait in Christ

You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.
Galatians 5:4-5

Most Holy God, free us from the bondage of works righteousness. Teach us afresh through your Spirit that your grace in Christ is not only sufficient, it is ever available and sustaining. 

In our moments of doubting and fear, set our eyes and expectations firmly on the cross; reminding us in spirit and in truth that Christ's death was, is, and ever will be the atonement of our sin.

Almighty God, our hope, our faith, the love that is amongst us, is all made possible by you, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. In you alone will I know peace. Because You live, I, too, shall live…
