Freedom

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "love your neighbor as yourself." If you keep on fighting and devouring each other, watch out or you'll be destroyed by each other. Galatians 5:13-15

Are you contributing to divisiveness in your home, your workplace, or the country?

Are you perfected in love?

What if...

We gave more thought and attention to what and how, we speak and act today from the perspective....

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 COR 13:4-7

O God, how many times you have forgiven me! In your mercy, through your Spirit, teach me the meaning and essence of your love that I, too, may forgive as you have forgiven.

Lord, by your grace, today, I will participate in more acts of love than ridicule and criticism. Help me God to be part of the healing that your Son, my Savior, Jesus came to be for us, in us, through us...that we might be a people that truly shine as a light in the darkness of the world.

The things that are impossible for us, are always possible with you, God.
