Majesty

No one is like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you. Jeremiah 10: 6-7

O God, surely as the day that I was born, you are unchanging and eternal. Lord, my heart cries out, my soul longs for the comfort and peace of your presence. Nations battle nations, persons condemn one another, yet you alone remain steadfast in your love. 

Lord Jesus, you have shown us, you have taught us, what is good and what is praiseworthy - to love you and one another. 

There is nothing, except the controlling desire of my heart, that can or will separate me from being renewed, reconciled and restored in right relationship with you or my neighbor. 

Have your way precious, holy, and loving God in this, my life, that I might be the essence of your gift for new beginnings in this Advent season - all glory is yours, in the name and majesty of Jesus Christ. Amen.
