Kindness

He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done. Proverbs 19:17

Create in me O Lord a heart that sees the poverty of friend and foe alike. Inspire me O Lord through your in-dwelling Spirit that my motives are free from selfish ambition or the pursuit of material gain.

You are God and you know my every need. I will trust in your leading, I will not lean on my own understanding and I will share in the richness of your love.

In this day most holy God, may my faith and confidence grow in your most perfect way and my life be an offering that others may see and know you as the author and perfector of my life. 

To this end, in your grace, and forever yours, I pray everlasting God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…
