Peace

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27

Holy God, only you are the Creator, only you can redeem the un-redeemable. In you, all persons may have new life, and have it to the full. Bodies may fail, minds may falter but your Spirit is everlasting. In you and with you - Father, Son, Holy Spirit, we will know eternal peace.

Forgive us, we pray for those things that we say and do that are contrary to the love of Christ. Find in us this day grateful hearts and joyful souls whom celebrate the freedom of afforded each of us through other's sacrifice. 

You, Lord Jesus, who knew know sin, took on the sin of the world that we might know and be new creations, that we might be restored, reconciled, and re-imaged as you intend us to be. In your light, this day, all praise is yours, Everlasting God…
