Joy

Jesus said, "Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete." John 16:24

Holy God, we lay aside all our restlessness and striving to be in your presence. No amount of planning and preparing for future events can come close to being in your present will. 

Your peace and joy are present realities as we seek your perfect will, as we surrender to the gentle leading of your Spirit. Fulfill in us, through us, your visions and desires for our undivided hearts that your Kingdom come in all its glory. Sovereign God, no person, no trial, no temptation will separate us from your love in Christ.
