Assurance

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - you are my God, too. Thank you for the gift of your son Jesus. Thank you for the faithfulness of Jesus who bore my sin and the sin of the world on the cross. Thank you for the promise of eternal life through Christ's resurrection. We rejoice in the comfort and conviction, the wisdom and the power from your fulfilling promise and indwelling presence of your Holy Spirit.

Lord God you know and see all things, even the number of our days. In all our comings and goings, by your Spirit, let us know and be the character of Christ's faithfulness in word, deed, and sign. We praise, we ask, we receive the will of the Father in the Son through the Spirit...
