Healing Hope: Repent

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. The time has come, he said. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news! Mark 1:14-15

Holy God, reign in my heart, consume my consciousness, and direct my everyday activities. Pour out your healing mercies on the suffering silent and fill the disheartened with the hope of Christ. No one, not one of us, has been found blameless but your righteousness Lord is available for all. In your wisdom God, you have given to each who call upon and claim Jesus as Lord, your Holy Spirit - the Helper.

We turn from the ways of self-righteousness, we confess that we have not loved you God with our whole heart, we seek afresh this day a Kingdom heart-mind-spirit. We will praise you with word and deed and sign that the Good News will be shared with the joy of the One who calls each of us by name, saying, "_________ come to me, abide in me, go with me, into the world."
