Complicated

And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42

If life was only that easy! 

Hmmm, What if Jesus meant what he said? What if Mary really did choose the "good part"?! What if that "good part" could never be taken from her!

Completing all the chores on your list, having a seven figure savings/retirement account, or ensuring that the other person does their fair share of the work, might bring flashes of self-satisfaction. 

Several hundred flashes of self-satisfaction pales in comparison to the inexpressible joy, peace, assurance, and comfort that one moment in time of sitting in the presence of Christ! What if we choose to be in his presence daily? The things of this world become strangely dim. Just maybe, life isn't about being "easy" or "complicated", maybe, just maybe, life and the good part depends on perspective and vision.

What if we looked at life from "being in the presence of Jesus Christ"? Will you have a seat?
