Sovereign God, we bring before you the pain and suffering that we see, feel, and know in the world. We ask that your convicting love be poured out in the hearts of all those who viciously reign, control, and subjugate others and nations.

Teach us, in your Spirit, to listen well that we might comfort and support brothers and sisters in their time of need. Lead us, in your Spirit, to follow the way of Christ that we might act in wisdom and grace in unjust situations and circumstances.

Holy Lord, we rejoice in the blessing of being your children, called according to your purpose, to be willing participants in your transforming love that others might know...Jesus.
