Born Again

Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." 

Nicodemus asked, "how can a man be born when he is old?" 

Jesus answered, I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." 

Nicodemus asked, "How can this be?"

Jesus declared, "for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3 (select verses)

New birth, regeneration, and conversion our terms used to describe the process, in both it's instantaneous and it's gradual aspects, by which we are brought by God from the state of sin into new life in Jesus Christ, and in which we grow through the inspiration and workings of the Holy Spirit within us.
