Action

...if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things...put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8–9

You are not in control of others, their situations or circumstances. No. And there are plenty of times when you have observed, noted, and known the lack of control in your own life.

One might be tempted to seek little, dream small, envision naught...thereby minimizing the risks for "not being in control." But then we find that all that was accomplished was a sense of dissatisfaction with our own controlled complacency.

As you think - so you act. 

What if...yes, what if you embraced the vision of God that says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (JN 14:27).

Almighty and everlasting God, today, I will look, listen, and act in the leading of your Spirit - the very Spirit that convicts of both sin and righteousness.

Make me, as you have called me, your very own, to will and to do....in the name of Jesus. Amen.
