Unshakable Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2

One can sense, even smell out if you will, the lack of hope. Complacency has an odor of its' own and fear's silent scream pierces the the silence in even the loudest room. 

Faith and love, however, on the other hand, are the two bastions of hope and no amount of negativity or despair can hold back the tides of the Spirit of the Lord Jesus. 

Like the unfailing waves that touch the sands of the distant shore then draw back upon the soul of the sea, so hope proceeds from God to bathe or souls and to be shared with others. And as surely as we share the hope of the eternal, a taste of heaven, then like the wave, we return to the heart of our Maker, to be filled afresh from the endless and everlasting fountain. 

I beg you, suspend your disbelief this day, putting your trust in God, and know a hope that never disappoints!
