Rest

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Isaiah 26:3

When all the world is spinning, seemingly out of control, when it is hard to catch your breath as your mind races from scenario to scenario - PAUSE.

Precious Lord, of all the things I can think or do today, and you know me better than I know myself, I will pause that I might rest in your presence. You alone, sovereign God, are my peace, my comfort, my strength, my Alpha and Omega, the perfecter of my life in faith.

Let your Spirit reign as I rest and am renewed in the comfort and assurance of the living Christ who has promised to never leave nor forsake us. In the name of Jesus…
