Rest

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
Genesis 2:2-3

Almighty and everlasting God give rest to the souls of all those who labor - strengthen body, minds, and spirits in the name of Jesus. In your grace fill us with longing for the life of Christ that in one voice, as one body, the community of faith, in Jesus, will have a healing presence in a world desperate for Good News.

Crucify in each of us self-satisfaction. Renew in us your Holy Spirit that is the promise of bringing and being one with Christ in truth and love that in this day we might be found faithful as a means of grace. In His steps, because He lives…
