Peace

Peace I leave you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled Ann do not be afraid. John 14:27

Generally, if the world is offering peace, it is associated with the absence of conflict - that is a good thing. Life teaches us that conflict is real and everyone will experience it first hand in many ways. It may be short-lived or long-lasting.

Christ's peace, at times is unexplainable, is present in the most disastrous and undesirable circumstances, is free for the asking - ask, seek, knock. The peace of Christ encompasses and goes beyond the natural, it is supernatural.

Lord God, my prayer is for all those who are struggling, in their own strength, "to make things right". Let your peace be a balm to the disquieted soul, a blanket of comfort over their feverish activity. In your grace, through your grace, with your grace, let your peace reign, in the Prince of Peace - Jesus!
