One Thing
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42
To sit in the presence of the Lord for five minutes is more important than completing a weeks worth of chores in one afternoon.
To know His peace, to be His joy, to live His love...only one thing is needed - His presence.
Come, Lord Jesus, come. I will enter your gates with Thanksgiving, I will enter your courts with praise...Lord, you are my all-in-all. All things become new in your presence. I become new in your presence.
Holy Spirit, you take our stilted and bruised souls and breath new life and singleness of purpose into our spirits in one touch.
Have your way most precious and loving God in my life that I might truly live in the wonder and majesty and grace of Jesus...the hope of the world!
