Comfort

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3–4

Loving God, we receive great comfort as we call upon your name. In your grace we find strength, peace, and assurance. You are closer than the very air we breath, your presence is my comfort. I will rest in you.

The tasks and work of my hands and mind this day will be in and through the presence of your Spirit that others might see and know your care, your comfort, and your hope.

May this day be filled, complete, and overflowing with the faith, hope, and love of our Lord Jesus, in His name...
