Love
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always perseveres. Love never fails" 1 Cor. 13:4-8.
Scriptural and personal holiness, or the desire thereof, is not to be equated with haughtiness, superiority, or any sense of being measured against another. Holiness begins with the grace of God that moves in a person's life to initiate the humble acknowledgement that apart from Him we can do nothing [good]. In humility, we are inspired to adore and praise God. The character of that adoration and praise is LOVE!
We are not in "control" but we are "responsible". How will you respond to the grace of God, today?
