Intimacy with God

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Your deepest desires determine the character of your everyday actions.

In order to bear the fruit of the spirit - peace, love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; one must be connected to the vine.

Desire God. Abide in God. Spend time with God in prayer, in the Word, in worship, in fellowship, in communion, in fasting, in serving.

Do not misunderstand...It is not about how many minutes, hours, or days of "going through the motions". Remember the Pharisees.

Dear God, you alone make possible all that is good and praiseworthy. By your grace I will not despair nor participate in any slanderous conversations, especially in the political culture of this day and time. As only you can do God, I pray that you change people's hearts - make them be rooted in the goodness and mercy of Christ Jesus.

By your Spirit, through your grace, I seek to abide in you that all the words from my mouth, the meditations of my heart, and all my actions will be a testimony to a life in Christ.

Hear my prayer O Lord, that as a Christ-follower, I will walk in the Light that overcomes all darkness…
