His Glory Made Known

There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. Luke 12:2-3

Holy and precious God you have known us in our darkest hours, you have called us from the depths of despair and given us a new name. Father, in your grace, there is forgiveness, in your grace there is strength and renewal, and in your grace, darkness fades and there is a light that illumines the beauty for those made in your image.

Lord, the plans of the evil one, and those whose hearts of stone who plan and plot evil, will reap what they sow - your will be done. Even, oh Lord, as you have shown us the better way, may our conversations today, may our engagements with brother, sister, colleague, or the cashier at the store, be used to fill the unforgiving minute with a day of hope - a glimpse of your glory.

God, your peace, a peace that gives, and is, assurance, even in the most difficult of life's trials, is my heart's song this day. Thank you Lord Jesus, for your amazing grace...
