Faith

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth" John 1:1, 14.

Thank you precious and Holy God! To many, this sounds like pure foolishness, even as it did to me 22+ years ago. For so many years I was seeking answers from sources that only left me with more questions and oftentimes with more hurt and shame. But, O Lord, in your mercy and grace, through your saints, through your "priesthood of all believers", your love for me could no longer be denied - You, almighty God, the source of all that is wise and beautiful called me by name, taught me the wonders of your creation, enlightened me, included me, in your plan of redemption for a broken and hurting world - how amazing is your Grace! I confess, God, I do not have all the answers. But, in faith, I confess you, Lord Jesus, are the answer...the way, the truth, and the life...the same yesterday, today, and forever...Father, Son, Holy Spirit, all honor and glory is yours, now and forever!

May each of us this day, as Christ-followers, share Him through word, truth, and deed.
