Faith

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5–6

Good morning friends! I hope all is well with your soul. This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible, and I have many. The concept of faith is simple, but the reality is that the practice of living in faith can be difficult. It takes work, it asks something of you. Faith says, "I surrender my right to self, now." Amazingly enough, it is God's grace that makes this possible, now! 

Would you like to grow in your faith? I would. Let's pray that this will be the case for each of us.

Almighty and everlasting God, I saw the sunrise through the clouds this morning. I was reminded of your goodness and your glory in creation. Thanks be to you. I was reminded that you're a God of new beginnings, you are the hope for the nations, and the comfort for those that are hurting and suffering. Help us O Lord, to grow in our faith and understanding of you this day. All praise is yours, this day and forever! Amen.
