Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day today. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.

Even as "perfect love drives out fear" (1 JN 4:18), holy praise drives out the down-in-the dumps. It is part of the wonderful mystery of faith that "we know now in part but will know fully then" (1 COR 13:12). Praise of the Lord is a wonderful recipe for a joyful day and a contented heart!

Most loving and gracious God nothing compares to your glory! Your creative beauty surrounds us day and night from the colorful fall leaves to the star enriched skies - how can we not but help to sing your praises!

Holy God we praise you for the blessings you always pour out in our lives. We praise you Lord for the example in Christ and the ability through your Spirit to share in those blessings with others. 

Fill us afresh this day with the awe of your majesty and wonder in the "little things" that we might know the unrivaled power and the beautiful peace of what it means to have our hearts centered in Christ…
