Church

Church, the body of Christ, is eternal. This eternal body outlives any one particular ecclesial expression. More specifically, the eternal Church comprises all ecclesial expressions.

You are an integral part of of the body of Christ. We fit together like the various parts of a puzzle. Together, in kingdom-place, not scattered or mis-placed, we make a beautiful work of living art of the living God.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6–7

Holy God, we are confident of this, your love for us is unfailing; you have called us according to your will and desire; you restore us in right relationship with you and others; our body is comprised of many parts, Christ is the head.

By your Spirit make us one with each other. Heal our broken parts, personally and communally that we might best express the love of Christ in us with all the world, in the time and space we presently find ourselves.
