If I had thirty minutes in a quiet room...

I might start by giving thanks. I'd thank God for the gift of Tammy, my best friend. I'd thank God for the most blessed gift and responsibility of two beautiful and precious daughters, Laura Ann and Katie. I'd thank God for the simple things in life that are not so simple, like the comfort of home and food. I thank God for the challenges, bumps, and obstacles over the years, recounting valuable life lessons learned. 

I'd thank God for the gift of another day - a day that is so filled with all the hope and promise of a redeeming God!

If I had thirty minutes in a quiet room, I might start with...

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thes 5:16-18
