If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Philippians 2:1-4

Experience the pure joy of Christ in giving. Give a listening ear, give a helping hand, give financially to another. 

Do not be afraid: it is honorable and truthful to begin and participate in the "giving life" from a perspective of obedience. And, you will find, moments of obedience become acts of love.

Precious God, giver of every good and perfect gift, be the center and foundation of our souls that we may be living witnesses of Christ's gift of love. Strengthen our faith in the promise, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends".
