The Spirit

Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty. Zechariah 4:6b

How many times have you "pushed your way through"? Maybe, you would even reach out and grab Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ to strengthens me." 

Goals, the "finish line", and completed projects are wonderful. Here is the but, more importantly is the condition of the journey, the character and condition of one's heart and soul in the day-to-day and moment-by-moment.

Do not despair if you find yourself wanting and in need! That is the first step in resting and moving in the unfathomable grace of God. 

Sovereign God, no amount of worry, feverish and intense action on our part will make our heart right with you or others. But by your grace, the atoning love of our Lord Jesus we have the promise of never being forgotten nor forsaken. 

Free us Father from criticism and condemnation of others and self that we might know the pure joy of living in the very present and real presence of fellowship in your Spirit.
