The Lord’s Prayer

This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6: 9-13

Prayer is that wonderful discipline of humble petition, confession, and expectant grace-filled action. Prayer is not about aligning God's will with ours. Rather, it all about aligning our wills with God's will.

Blessed Lord, may the words from our mouths, the meditations of hearts, and the activities at the turn of our hands this day bring honor and glory to the name of Christ...
