Thankfulness

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 16-18

O God, you know me. No action, no fleeting thought goes unnoticed. There is nothing hidden from you sovereign Lord. Though we might have tread in ruts and mire of filth and despair of the world, you offer us hope, healing and a love that overcomes the seemingly impossible. 

In you, Holy God, we find that joy and strength and gratitude is not our own - your will be made complete in my life and the life of family and friends. With your grace Lord Jesus I can and will know and experience your fruit more deeply; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Reign afresh Holy Spirit this day. I submit unto you all that I am and can be. My heart sings for joy, my voice rings the prayers of the saints gone before, and I will give thanks in all things today - in His steps, because He lives, I too may live with the peace that surpasses all understanding...
