Praying the Promises of God

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me... I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me...Because I live, you also will live. John 14: select verses

Psalm 118:8 tells us, "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.

Trusting in the Lord is a matter of the will. We are able to grow in our ability to do so as we allow, more and more, the grace that God freely gives, to reign in our hearts, minds, and actions. God never will go against God's self! As we surrender in the grace - that is, the presence, pardon, and power of God, there is peace, joy, and comfort. 

People will disappoint; friends will disagree; family, especially family, will be insensitive and unkind at times; BUT, the love God will remain steadfast. 

With eyes and souls stayed on Christ, we will have hope for humanity as we trust in the One who has overcome the world.

Forgive one another. With nothing to prove, but much to share, be the love of our Lord Jesus, today.
