Perspective

So from now on we were regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
2 Corinthians 5:16-17

Seeing the sin and brokenness in others and the world is easy; for, we look through the lens of our own sinful eyes.

As we become more Christ-like, we see in others, and ourselves, the hunger and need; to be fed and filled by grace and reconciliation.

Calling sin, "sin", is not sin; failing to offer truth in love to those in need may very well be.

Holy God, teach us to walk in faith that our sight might lead us with a grace-filled vision. Give us a heart for speaking truth in love.

Lord Jesus, only you are the way, the truth, and the life. Take my life in yours that I might be always and ever moving to being perfected in love for your name's sake and for the souls of others.

Holy Spirit, wisdom and power, move as you will and let me follow in the path of Christ that others may know the faith, hope, and love of God, now and forever. Amen.
