Last to First

Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, "if anyone wants to be first, you must be the very last, and the servant of all." Mark 9:35

Then, Jesus takes a child in his arms and tells them that whoever welcomes one of these little ones, welcomes him. Further, when you welcome Jesus you are welcoming the One who sent him.

The world could benefit greatly, you might even say it would be transformed, if, we exercised a little more humility - living into and out of...love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
