Joy

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28

There are many things in life that add measures of happiness. Joy, for Christ-followers, is found rooted and growing from an abiding relationship in their Lord. God calls, "Come to me." God opens Christ's life, "Abide in me and I in you." God sends in Spirit, "Go, in my name, and make disciples..."

One of my favorites, Albert Schweitzer, said, "The only ones among you who will be truly happy are those who have sought and found how to serve."

Your value, your worth, your identity, is not to be measured by comparing yourself to any other person. Be yourself! 

Identify and know your gifts and talents. Now, assess your use of them in your every day life at home, at work, at play.
