Humility's Call

He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

We have seen and we know God's goodness. And we have seen and know the work of the evil one.

O Lord, only you make possible the impossible. You are able to right wrong, you bind up and heal the broken hearted, you have and will forgive those who have laid burdens and woe on the doorsteps of other's lives.

We enter your presence knowing we are in need of your grace. Come Holy Spirit, humble us that our witness this day would not be found wanting. Free us from the petty and trivial cravings of ego that seek self-satisfaction over Godly wisdom and merciful action. Make us holy Lord Jesus, as you are holy.

By your stripes, we are healed.
In your grace, we are forgiven.
With your love, we are loving.

All honor and glory is yours,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Amen.
