Fruitful Patience

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Matthew 7:18

It takes time for trees to produce fruit, it doesn't happen overnight. Both young and old trees alike must be pruned, tended, and nurtured to bear good fruit. 

Friends, do not be discouraged in your season of preparation, young or old tree that you are. Rest in the care of the Master Gardener knowing that his fruit is everlasting and is seeded through love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
