Friends

Greater love has no than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. John 15:13

Real, authentic, friends are rare - a true blessing. Even more rare is the friend who would lay down their life for me or another.

Two such men are on my heart this morning: my oldest brother Rich, and, my friend Keith of 32 years (from our days back in the Marines) - Semper Fi!

In light of Christ's love, I know the great blessing of true friendship.

Almighty God, let us nurture in one another this day the love you have shared with us in Christ. That in any and all of our forthcoming days we might give honor and glory to you…
