Freedom

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

Almighty and everlasting God, we thank you for the freedoms we know and enjoy. We thank you God for the men and women who have and do stand in harm's way to protect our inalienable rights. Put a hedge of protection around them - their hearts, homes, and families. 

Let your Spirit strengthen the bands of love that bind us together through the love of Christ. Unify us in word and deed that the United States might be an extension of your light and love in the world. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, King of kings!
