Fear or Love

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:8

It is impossible for the two primary emotions to be found occupying the same space at the same time. 

The Christ-follower's walk and testimony is to grow more and more in the love of Christ that Christ's love drives out all the blatant, permissive, and hidden fears.

Loving God, capture the hearts and minds of those who watch and walk in the wake of fear. Free them from the bondage of a diminished existence. 

Teach us Holy Spirit to boldly walk in the love of God that our speech and action will reflect the life of the One who knew no fear - a life of faith, hope, and love.

With all the saints, past, present, and future, may the peace of God that passes all understanding fill the hallowed halls and hearts of and in the Kingdom of Heaven…
