Comfort

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3–4

Loving God, there is none like you. You are the Creator of all that is good and praiseworthy. You mend, heal, and bind up the broken hearted. You give strength to the weak and courage to the timid. You are always steadfast, your love endures forever. You have never broken a promise. We praise you Lord!

Let your Spirit fall afresh and reign in those whose hearts are hurting. Bring your peace, comfort, and assurance to those who have lost their way - let Your Way be their way.

In all things, in all ways, you are God! Thank you for the forgiveness of our sin in the name and life of Jesus Christ. Thank you for the assurance and grace that we have and know through your Spirit. This day, as is any other, is filled with hope because you are our God - Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and all honor, glory, and power is yours - and we are children of the Most High. Amen.
