Come and Rest

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28

Jesus knew what was in man. Jesus knew what was in the world. And, Jesus knows the "power-struggles" we play out in our minds and with each other. You may have heard it one hundred times before, "peace is not the absence of outer conflict, it is the inner assurance of never being alone nor forsaken."

I'm going to accept his invitation to "come to me" today, and tomorrow, and the next...I pray! And that is my hope for you as well.
