Celebrate the Light

No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead, he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light. Luke 11:33

Amazing God, how great is your love. You speak and creation springs forth. You who are Light and Truth and all that is praiseworthy be in my heart and reside in my home. Allow me, holy God, to rest in your Holy Spirit that all the world may know that I am yours, and you are mine.

Perfect Love, blessed Lord, may a new season of celebration enter this nation. One that is founded not in political pandering but the greatest commandment of our Lord Jesus...let us, in your grace, love you God with all our heart, soul, and mind and our neighbor as ourselves. 

Prince of peace, in you, with you, there is no fear. You are the Light of the world and I will rejoice in the knowledge and fruit of healthy, holy, and restored relationships because you have first loved me. You call us unto You, in your mercy, and now we, your children, live as salt and light in a world desperate for the Word. Fill us afresh this day Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus...
